Founded in 1994 amidst the height of the challenging rebel war in Sierra Leone, Pikin-to-Pikin Movement is a non-governmental organization based in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
Our mission involves employing child-to-child methodologies in our initiatives, empowering children not only to educate their peers but also to impart knowledge within their families and communities. The name 'Pikin-to-Pikin' represents a linguistic translation of 'child-to-child.
Our mission is to work with government, communities, development partners, their organizations, and other stakeholders to create and sustain a conducive environment for the growth and well-being of children in Sierra Leone.
Our vision is to ensure a sustainable and inclusive development that provides children with a conducive environment to realise their full potential and ensure their well-being.
Strategic Pillars
To achieve the greatest of impact, Pikin-To-Pikin Movement identified and focused its intervention on their strategic pillars that are guided by government priorities and the felt needs of the children in the operational districts.
